Our History

"I will build my Church and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 1:18

With these words our Lord, Jesus Christ, instituted that His people would always be found seeking to love and serve Him in communities.  Victory Missionary Baptist Church exists because of His faithfulness to His Word.

The initial meeting of those concerned to establish a Conservative Baptist Church met on November 3, 1973 and organized into an independent Missionary Baptist Church.  They worshiped in a Community Building in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, for a while and later moved to a building on Old Hickory Boulevard in Madison.  With the Lord's Blessing the Church grew and needed a larger sanctuary.

In 1981 two tracts of land were purchased on Gallatin Road in Hendersonville, Tennessee and Church construction was soon under way.  On February 28, 1982 Victory Church moved to their new home.  The Lord continues to bless us as a lighthouse to this community.  On October 13, 1991 the church bought the property next door and remodeled this house to provide a place for fellowship and teaching.
