My friend Richard Brooks is having a heart transplant as I type this prayer request. I ask for your prayers that the Lord's Will be done in his plan for Richard. God Bless and thanks.

Hello everyone

I just wanted to give everyone an update on Richard. He made it thru surgery fine and there doesn’t seem to be any problems with the donor heart. The surgeons were amazed at how well the surgery went and if he continues to improve he will likely be sitting in a chair by Monday. That’s all the news I have now. I’m speechless I guess.

What little I’ve been around this situation all I can think about is how great God really is. I’m so glad that I know God as my Savior and I’m so thankful for everything. This entire ordeal just proves the mighty power of prayer. And I can truly say that since this morning alone there have been many prayed from people all over the great United States.

If his condition changes I’ll be in touch again.

Please request prayer for Sis. Nita Reid, a member at Mt. Calvary. She had back surgery (a second one to follow-up last year's, part of which went bad) 10 days ago. She's contracted MRSA (a resistant type of steph. infection) which has caused her red blood cell production to slow. She and Mt. Calvary would greatly appreciate your prayers.

We'd like to ask prayer for Rick's brother & sister-in-law (his sister-in-law was saved in our KS mission a yr ago). We got a call this morning that their daughter Kim died unexpectedly in the night from a blood clot. Chances are Kim died lost - we certainly hope not but very possibly. Rick's brother Paul has told us he is lost & Willa has asked prayer many times for her husband & family. She has a sister that is dying from lung cancer now they suffer the loss of their daughter. We know there is no prayer that will help Kim now but we do ask prayer for Paul, Willa other members of Rick's family that are lost. We just pray that all this will turn his brother toward God & not away from God. He called Rick in Jamaica this morning wanting him to come be with him thru all this so we're trying to get him home for the funeral.

I have two prayer requests

1) Please pray for my brother in Christ, Mark Muse, his wife Angie, and their 10 year old son Samuel. Mark was recently diagnosed with cancer. It's in more than one area of his body and is treatable but not curable from a medical standpoint but we know that all things are possible with God.

2) Please pray for my sister in Christ, Pamela Reilly. She's been very ill the past few months and was recently in a vehicle accident. She's had diabetes for over 40 years so the healing process will be very slow and the likelihood of her developing an infection from her wounds is high.
